I'm a freelance Story Artist and Story Supervisor based in London. I have 8+ years of experience working as a Story Artist in film, TV, games and commercials on 2D and 3D animation as well as VFX and live action projects. I have worked on adult and children's content spanning a diverse range of genres from horror, action, science fiction and drama to slapstick comedy and heart-warming family fun.
As a Supervisor/Head of Story I enjoy working closely with directors, showrunners, writers, production and the Story team to find the greatest version of a project that can exist within its budget, time and technical constraints.

I love working with Story Artists of all levels of experience, supporting and collaborating as appropriate. I love breaking down scripts, briefing, giving feedback and working with Story Artists to find the best shots and acting that will help us squeeze more comedy from gags, make action sequences as exhilarating as possible, ensure emotional beats are impactful and poignant and most importantly that story clarity is maximised.
I welcome the challenge of working with Story Artists to find solutions when it seems the ambition of a story stretches beyond the budget or technical limitations of the project. I'm also confident producing additional materials such as concept art, designs, character expression or pose guides and written briefs and script notes when required.
I'm at ease managing a diverse team of artists and will try to identify how they work best and where their strengths lie, doing my best to enable them to excel and provide support when needed. I'm comfortable being the nexus between the story team and production as well as other departments, I can keep track of schedules, assess progress, communicate needs, take responsibility and boost morale.
As a Story Supervisor and Head of Story I believe it is crucial to develop a close and collaborative working relationship with the Director, I greatly enjoy riffing with the Director and other senior creatives.
As a Story Artist I love working across a broad range of genres, content types, subject matters and art styles and am confident doing so. I'm comfortable producing quick storyboards in high volume as well as more rendered key shot concepts. I love working alongside a team but happy working independently as well.
Above all love story telling and I feel incredibly fortunate and thrilled to be working in this role in the industry.
